Come out to relax with other young professionals from around the Alexandria and DC area. This is a great opportunity to socialize with other like minded young professionals, try out a great bar and find out what else the AYRs have been doing and are planning. Join us for a drink after work, meet up with old and new friends, relax and talk about the events of the day and week. You know you want to talk about politics with us, admit it and have some fun. Are you interested in getting involved with the Presidential campaign and weren't sure how? Join us as we go out to the McCain Campaign Headquarters to volunteer. There is a lot that needs to be done, administrative, phones, mailings, data inputting, and anything else that needs to be done. This is your chance to start getting involved.

Whether you have 30 minutes or 2 hours, join us for the time you have.

Join us at our regular monthly meetings on the first Monday of every month at Murphy’s Grand Irish Pub in Old Town Alexandria. This is a great opportunity to network with like-minded young professionals from around the Alexandria area, talk politics and hear a great speaker.

All are welcome to participate at any meeting or at any event.

Note: The AYRs are collecting food for the ALIVE! Food Bank at our May meeting. In early April there was a break-in at the food bank and food collected by the food bank was stolen (read story here, here and here). We would like to help provide additional food to help those in need. Bring canned goods and other non-perishable foods to the AYR May Meeting on Monday, May 5 (or drop hem off at the ARCC May Meeting on Thursday, May 1, or email us at info@alexYRs.org for additional locations).
